Cells and Cents ("we", "us") runs cellsandcents.com. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information you give us

Email list. If you sign up for our free budget sheet or newsletter, we collect your email address, the page you signed up on, campaign tags in the link you followed (UTM parameters), the referring site, your browser's user agent, and a one-way hashed version of your IP address (used only to prevent abuse). Signups are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. Emails are sent through Cloudflare Email Service, which processes your email address to deliver our messages.

Double opt-in and unsubscribing. When you sign up for the free starter sheet, you can download it right away and we send one email asking you to confirm the newsletter. We only add you to our list after you click that confirmation link. If you do not confirm, we will not send you newsletters. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also email us to be removed.

Purchases. Purchases are processed by our e-commerce checkout provider (Kit Commerce), which uses Stripe to process card payments. We receive your name, email address, and order details so we can deliver your download and provide support. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of payment data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Information collected automatically

Hosting. Our site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and request logs to deliver the site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse.

Advertising and cookies. We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before non-essential cookies are set.

Calculators. Our calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at the address below.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
